A former chairman of Okpe Local Government Area, Prince Godwin E. Ejinyere will be installed as the next District Head of Orerokpe community, Delta State.
The installation will take place on Thursday September 17th, 2020 according to an invitation sent by Prince Ejinyere to Broom News on Tuesday.
The Prince wrote: “May I humbly request your presence for my installation as the acting district head of Orerokpe District by HRM Orhue 1 the Orodje of Okpe and the Udogun Council on Thursday the 17th day of September 2020 by 10 am prompt.”
The venue is Udogun Hall in Orerokpe community.
Also, a reception will follow immediately at the prince residence at Old Palace Road, Orerokpe, Delta State by 12noon.
Presently, he is the executive assistant to Delta State Governor, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa on project monitoring. Consequently, Ejinyere monitors projects on empowerment, maintenance and community development in the state.
Career-wise, Ejinyere worked meritoriously in Chevron International company before he retired from the oil firm.
Previously, he served at various capacities in Delta State. These include; board member land allocation committee, S. S. A on youth development, and S. S. A on peace and conflict resolution.
More importantly, the chief brought development to the people of his community. First, started an agriculture initiative in Okpe local government Council by planting cucumber and other crops in council yard. Secondly, he painted all primary schools in Orerokpe and also renovated Okpe multipurpose hall. Thirdly, he donated health equipment to the healthcare centre in Orerokpe.
