The Okun TV Crew will be Live at the Ogidi and Ekirin-Adde Day Festival; As Powered by IDERA OKUN

The Okun TV a trademark of Idera Okun – a non-profit organization – would be live at the Ogidi and Ekirin-Adde Day Festival for this year’s edition. The cultural fiesta has become a rallying point for the Okun people and has attracted development to their area, as well as boost their economy. On display will be the rich cultural heritage of both communities as they extend a hand of hospitality to guests and tourists who will be gracing the event from all walks of life.

However, According to Amb. Victor Walsh Oluwafemi, the President/Founder of the organization; Idera Okun is driven by the core mandate to bring together people of Okun Descent (both home and abroad) to brainstorm and also collaborate for the economic emancipation of the Okun people. Over the years; through various avenues, the organization has however, been supporting and promoting the advancement of the Okun Nation: People, Land, and Culture.

Therefore, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility; the organization’s media outfit – the foremost indigenous media outfit of the Okun People will however, be live at Ogidi and Ekirin-Adde town respectively to cover the prestigious events. Amb. Oluwafemi has however, directed the media team of Okun TV; led by Sunday Aseda Baiye to coordinate the following activity at both events:

  1. Interview sessions for:
    a. The Royal Highness & Wife.
    b. Best of Sons & Daughters.
    c. Guests & Tourists.
  2. Showcase Indigenous Delicacies.
  3. Highlight Sights and Sounds of the respective locations.

To this effect; All necessary arrangement has been put in place to enable a successful outing and also coverage. This was reported at the Organisation’s office in FCT – Abuja during a chat with the media team in preparation for covering the festival that will be held on the 18th & 19th June 2021. Both towns are located in Ijumu LGA of Kogi State, Nigeria.
